I take good care of your personal data. This privacy policy explains which data I process, why I do so and what rights you have.
1. Who I am
Casa Esperanza is the business of Diana van Putten, a self-employed professional (autónoma) based in Hondón de los Frailes, in the province of Alicante, Spain. I am the controller responsible for processing the personal data described in this policy. You can reach me at
Esperanza.casa@outlook.com.
2. What data I process
I only process data that you give me yourself, for example through the contact form, by email or during a conversation:
your name and email address;
your company name and phone number, if you share them;
the content of your message and what you tell me about your business;
if we work together: the details needed to carry out the assignment and for invoicing.
3. What I use your data for
to answer your question and arrange an introductory call;
to prepare a proposal and carry out our collaboration;
to invoice and keep my accounts;
to comply with legal obligations, such as the statutory retention period for tax records.
I do not use your data for any other purpose, and I never send newsletters or advertising unless you have asked for them.
4. Legal basis
I process your data because you have asked me to get in touch (legitimate interest or consent), because it is necessary to perform our agreement, or because the law requires me to.
5. Data of your clients and contacts
If I work in your inbox, calendar or CRM, or contact your leads and clients for you, I process that data on your instructions. In that case you are the controller and I am the processor. I only use that data for the assignment, and we record the arrangements in a data processing agreement.
6. How long I keep data
If a contact request does not lead to a collaboration, I delete your data no later than twelve months after our last contact. Data needed for my accounts is kept for as long as tax and other legal retention rules require, and is deleted after that.
7. Who I share data with
I never sell your data. I only share it with parties I need in order to do my work, such as my email provider (Microsoft Outlook), the hosting provider of this website and my accountant. Agreements are in place with these parties to protect your data. If data is processed outside the European Union, this only happens with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
8. Security
I take appropriate measures to protect your data, such as secure accounts with strong passwords and two-factor authentication. I only use access to your systems for the work we have agreed on.
9. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising. If that changes in the future, I will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to its use, ask for its use to be restricted or request a copy to take elsewhere. Send your request to
Esperanza.casa@outlook.com. I will respond within one month.
11. Complaints
Not happy with how I handle your data? Please let me know first and we will look for a solution together. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), or with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
12. Changes
I may update this privacy policy if my way of working or the law changes. The latest version is always available on this website.
Version: October 2026
Clear agreements make for a pleasant collaboration. These terms and conditions apply to all work carried out by Casa Esperanza.
1. Definitions
Casa Esperanza: the business of Diana van Putten, a self-employed professional (autónoma) based in Hondón de los Frailes, Alicante, Spain. Client: the business owner or company that gives Casa Esperanza an assignment. Assignment: the work we agree on together, such as sales and lead follow-up, closer and sales support, virtual assistance, personal assistance or remote back-office support.
2. Applicability
These terms apply to every proposal and every assignment from Casa Esperanza. Any deviations only apply if we have agreed them in writing (email included). The client's own terms and conditions do not apply.
3. Proposal and assignment
After an introductory call you will receive a proposal setting out the work, the time commitment and the rate. A proposal is valid for thirty days. The assignment is confirmed as soon as you accept the proposal in writing or by email.
4. Performance
I carry out the assignment independently and to the best of my knowledge and ability, working remotely from Spain. My obligation is one of effort, not of result: I do what we agree, but I cannot guarantee outcomes that also depend on others, such as how many leads become clients. Our collaboration is not an employment relationship; I work as an independent professional.
The client provides the information, access and accounts needed in good time. If these are missing, this may affect the planning and the costs.
5. Availability and communication
We communicate by email, phone and video call. In the proposal we agree how often we are in touch and when I am available.
6. Rates and payment
The rates are set out in the proposal. I invoice monthly or on completion of a one-off assignment. Invoices are payable within fourteen days of the invoice date. For business clients in another EU country, VAT is generally reverse-charged. If payment is late, I may suspend the work until the invoice has been paid.
7. Changes, extension and termination
The scope can be increased or reduced by mutual agreement. A one-off assignment ends when the work is complete. Ongoing collaborations have a notice period of one month, unless the proposal states otherwise. When our collaboration ends, I will hand over ongoing matters and data properly.
8. Confidentiality
Everything I hear or see about your business, clients and contacts during our collaboration is treated as confidential. This continues to apply after the assignment has ended.
9. Personal data
If the assignment involves processing personal data of your clients or contacts, I do so only on your instructions and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We record the arrangements in a data processing agreement. You can read more in the privacy policy.
10. Liability
My liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the assignment concerned over the last three months. I am not liable for indirect loss, such as lost revenue or profit. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.
11. Force majeure
If I am temporarily unable to work due to circumstances beyond my control, such as illness or a prolonged internet or power outage, I will let you know as soon as possible and we will find a solution together.
12. Complaints
Not happy with something? Let me know within fourteen days at
Esperanza.casa@outlook.com. I take every complaint seriously and will work with you to find a solution.
13. Governing law
All assignments are governed by Dutch law, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We will always try to resolve any dispute together first.
